#705 compote in Russet has the diagnostic two balls in the stem.
There is some debate as to whether the following pieces are really footed bowls (the square footed pieces) or comports. They are included here since most call them compotes. The base is commonly called "Tree-of-Life" though there are some rare pieces that don't have the pattern. Upon close inspection the pattern actually appear to be grass-like reeds, not tree bark.
